2 year anniversary

What a better way to celebrate our anniversary than in the house of the Lord. We took the opportunity to attend the temple to do the endowments and the sealing of my great-great-(possibly one more great) grandparents on my mom's side of the family. Doing their sealing was a great reminder for us of the covenants we made with one another exactly 2 years ago. We then went out to eat and only had to spend about $6 because of a gift card Dave was able to get from his bank. In the end we only spent about $15 total on our anniversary and it was a great couple of days together without excessive spending :)

I am taking advantage of this time to do a little blogging! Bailee has been with my parents since Monday to give Dave and I a child-free anniversary, but we are so excited to see her again this afternoon! For now, I have been packing today and have realized how much I can get done without her here! I had to stop packing or else our whole place would have been ready to move out today and we are not moving until next week! So now I can update this blog :)
Last week we had an awesome trip up to Vancouver to be with Dave's family. We had so much fun visiting and seeing Bailee interact with her cousins :)

Dad+Mom=Me!

We were given an awesome picture frame that has a place for each of us as a formula of dad+mom=bailee so we wanted to share our pictures :)

Gran, Papa and Jennah come to visit

My parents and sister came to visit this weekend and brought Bailee some exciting new toys :) It was a fun weekend and thought I would share!

Updating with some pics :)

Bailee first standing up!
This post is pretty random but some events that I want to share :)
With Uncle Evan in Old Sacramento when he and Teena
came for a weekend!

Riding on Dave's shoulders to go home

Visiting Great Grandpa and Grandma for a weekend of
geneology and spending time with them!

My parents bought this puzzle for Bailee for Christmas.
Dave and I put it together and glued it, then my VERY
talented dad made an oak frame for it from some old
wood from a church building that was remodeled!
WE LOVE THIS!!

I made this poodle skirt for Bailee for a branch activity in Mariposa that was on a weekend we were visiting :) It was a fun project!

Cuddling up in her new cute blanket
made by Aunt Ren!

Finally a cute way to store Bailee's headbands!

She really wanted to go outside so.... we went :)

A bit of catch up!

What a resemblance!

Dave and I have decided to incorporate learning about more of our ancestors into our FHE activity. Last night Dave read the life story of his Grandpa Baily who I have heard so much about, but did not know much of his life story. Well... we were looking through the pictures at the end and as soon as I saw this picture of Dave's mom Leslie, as a baby, I said "Oh my goodness Bailee looks just like her!!!"  Too cute and I just had to share :)
